GAME RULES

These are the Blasterforce Juniors game rules, we usually play these rules for ages 5 – 8 years but these rules are excellent at any age for when you don’t want game modes and just to blast your friends and family.

​

• Listen to the Blasterforce Instructors at all times.

​

• No climbing, moving or kicking any of the inflatables, just use them to hide behind. (5 minute ban)

​

• Safety Glasses MUST be worn at all times during the Blasterforce Arena even by adults in the arena watching. 

​

• Bases / Reloading stations – you can’t shoot from these or at players in the station. Any player can reload from any station.

​

• You can load from darts in the station or from anywhere on the arena floor.

​

• All players are to help collect the darts at the end of each battle.

​

• One blow of the whistle signals the start of the games and a long blow of the whistle signals the end of the games.

​

• No firing the guns before the battle starts or after the battle ends. (5 minute ban)

​

• You can shoot any player, no one dies you just carry on playing if you’re hit.

​

• No deliberate head shots, you are aiming for the body not the head. 5 minute ban for constant deliberate head shots, and if you continue you’ll be banned from playing for the rest of the game.

​

• No close range shooting, within 2 meters.

​

• Do not shoot unarmed people or people not wearing safety glasses (This includes spectators).

​

• No Physical contact at any times, if witnessed it’s a 5 minute ban, and if you continue you’ll be banned from playing for the rest of the game.

​

• If you hear “the whistle” at any time stop!

​

• Do not put darts in your pockets or damaged darts in the guns

​

• No whining, complaining or arguing. Referees have the right to disqualify players or parents / guardians for bad attitudes (without refund).

GENERAL RULES

• Every game is a one shot kill unless told otherwise, a kill is registered if you get shot anywhere on the body below the neck including hands and feet.

If you get hit on the head, neck or gun it does not count you carry on playing.

If you are hit, you raise your hand and go directly to the graveyard.

When at the graveyard you will be there for 10 seconds or until the referee tells you to return to your base, you will then return to your base and continue the game, do not re-enter the game from the graveyard you are to return to your base and start again from there.

• If you get shot on your return to you base from the graveyard it does not count, active players try not to shoot the respawning dead.

 

 

Bases

• Are for reloading only, when you are in your base you cannot get shot, but you can also not shoot anyone from the base.

• The base is the only place that you can reload and not get shot, if are reloading anywhere else in the arena and you get shot it counts as a kill.

• Your base is colour coded to your vest.

Camping

• If a team is camping (staying) in a base for too long, the other team will be asked to full back and then the camping team will be counted down and have 10 seconds to leave their base, otherwise it will count as a kill for each person still in the base afterwards.

Fall Back Zones

• Fall back zones will either be marked on the wall by signs otherwise the referee will tell you where they are.

If the referee asks a team to fall back, they must drop back to the marked fall back zone.

• No deliberate head shots, if a deliberate headshot is witnessed you will be sent to the graveyard for 5 minutes, and if you continue you’ll be banned from playing for the rest of the game.

• No close range shooting, within 2 meters.

• No Physical contact at any times, if witnessed you will be sent to the graveyard for 5 minutes, and if you continue you’ll be banned from playing for the rest of the game.

• No firing the guns before the battle starts or after the battle ends.

 

GAME RULES

 

• Each team must start every game from their base, not from anywhere else in the arena.

• Each game starts with one blow of the whistle.

• Each game ends with a long blow of the whistle signals the end of that game.

Do not fire your guns before or after that whistle.

• Two short whistle blows will be to indicate players that have been shot who have not gone to the graveyard, the referee will be pointing at the player who has been shot, this player needs to then come to the graveyard.

• Play fairly, if you get shot raise your hand and go to the graveyard,

Players that do not play fairly will be giving a 5 minute time out, and if continued they will no longer be able to play the games.

• No arguing or retaliation shots, if you feel that someone is not playing fair tell the referee and they will try their best to sort it, do not start arguing or firing retaliation shots at the player, this will result in you getting a 5 minute ban.

 

Darts

• Each team has a bucket of darts, the bucket is located at each teams base, you can reload from that bucket or from any darts around the arena floor, once the bucket is empty you must use the darts from the floor.

• At the end of every game, each team is to take their bucket and collect the darts from the floor of the arena ready for the next battle.

• No throwing darts during the games, if seen this will count as a kill for the other team.

 

Blasters

• You are only allowed to use 1 blaster at a time unless told otherwise.

• You can change your gun at any time during the game by going to the graveyard and telling the referee that you are changing your gun.
